I have the Medela electric breast pump that IBM had a co-pay for, and it fits in a backpack. It definitely does the job. HOWEVER, if you are not going to pump both breasts at once, several times a day, I see no reason you need something so high-end and expensive. I had to travel for a few days while I was still breastfeeding, and didn't want to bring the huge breastpump backpack. So, I bought a Harmony hand pump. Turned out to be just as quick and simple in my opinion, and I wish I had just used it all along. And, it is only $35!
